One27 house of prayer exists to serve the prayer movement that God is sending all across Kentucky. As a house prayer founded on Psalm 127, it is our desire to see not only the local house of prayer established and strengthened, but that of the statewide as well. We have set our hearts on seeing prayer spread across Kentucky like a blanket.

Therefore, it is our mandate and calling to pray and interceed on behalf of all men, leaders and those in authority (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Through praise, prayer, and proclamation, we will see the Kingdom of God ushered into our cities, states, and nations of the world.

House of Prayer Story

It was in the early part of 2006- That God began to deal with our hearts; that He was raising up a house of prayer, established on the promise of Psalm 127- Unless the Lord builds the house….

There was a sense of urgency for our hometown of Somerset, KY, to see this house of prayer risen up in His timing. In February of 2006, we began to meet from week to week in several different homes, specifically two. In this, God continued to raise up a company of people, hungry for God in prayer and worship. Our first night of ‘vision casting’ was on February 18th. It was a start to a great adventure.

We now meet throughout the week, targeting in prayer different issues such as the Government, Israel, the Church, Outreach, Family, Workplace, Revival, etc… A minimum of two will meet in a designated place to believe God for that which they are praying for. We also have corporate gatherings in our sanctuary at Victory- specifically on the first Sunday of every month. All sets are open for anyone to come.

We also feel the call to help raise up the house of prayer over Kentucky, on a corporate level. It is our desire to see day and night prayer and worship cover our state like a blanket. As the “watchman state”, we will fix our gaze on the One who is able to build the house!
