Shake This City

May the Lord open up the gates of Somerset to His Kingdom as you all prayer walk your city!

I wanted to give you a Morehead update that you can share in the one27hop blog: The Lord has led us to host every-other month youth worship & prayer explosions in downtown Morehead that we call "Shake This City". The first was held back in May & the second was July 10. Local church worship teams & bands share in leading worship & folks are welcome to share briefly on the power of prayer. We begin with worship & then go into a time of group intercession (which is a little new to some believers in our city...;).

The May event was very powerful- over 60 people came. This is significant for our county with a population of ONLY 6000 people, YET over SIXTY churches...

This past event was held on a crazy-busy weekend, yet we had over 50 people attend. It was held at an outdoor stage in the center of our town & God's presence was very tangible as adults & youth from various denominations worshiped & prayed together.

I see the Lord beginning to stir His Body to come together, breaking through the walls that stand between ages & denominations. It is a beginning, & through concerted prayer & fasting, I know He will truly be able to shake this city with the love & power of His Kingdom.

Praise His awesome Name!

Thanks again for your leadership & mobilization efforts. May the Lord transition His body in Ky into a time of multiplication that brings amazing glory to His Name AND catapults us into the harvest fields with compassion, love & power.
