Manchester-City of Hope
As many of you know, we, here at the one27house of prayer, feel the mandate to be an integral part in helping raise up other portals of prayer across the state. By no means do we have the formula or “corner” on the house of prayer, we just simply want to be a “Barnabas” (encourager) in this thing.
We have just recently made some trips to Manchester to a church- City of Hope. These trips were designed to allow us to tell our story of how the Lord has been raising up our house of prayer here locally. In saying all that, they launched their first house of prayer on March 6th, 2009. It was a wonderful night in the Lord. I could not believe the momentum they had, from the word GO. It has humbled me to be part of such an undertaking, just miles away from my hometown. With what took place on March 6th, it will endless as to what the Lord will do in the days ahead concerning the house of prayer.
The Lord spoke that the City of Hope (house of prayer) was going to be a place of rest and refuge for the weary. I guess you can say it would be a “REST STOP”.
The Pastor (Donald Simms) gave us a word that “this was only the beginning”. That the Lord was going to allow us to experience “rapid growth”. He told us to look for more of the move of God concerning the house of prayer.
