Last Minute Prayer

This was a last minute event at Stonewall Wesleyan Church with Pastor Chip Mung. There was no agenda but to worship & then see what the Lord would lead us to pray about.

Rob Poindexter (a worship leader who is seasoned in leading prayer & worship) and Tommy Hayes (Messiah Ministries in Lex) were pretty much behind this. Rob and Betsy Meadows led worship. In between worship, different folks shared various things regarding what they felt the Lord was saying to them about praying for our nation, Kentucky & the city.
We prayed for the goodness of the Lord to be revealed over our state & nation even though we are deserving of great judgment.

One young woman saw a picture as through a microscope of many tiny cells beginning to come together & she felt that this is what the Lord is doing in the Body of Christ.

Another word that seemed to come out strongly was "change" & "time for mercy".

The Lord's presence was very sweet & it was a significant time, I believe. I am hopeful that this will happen again- people indicated that this is. (I pray that this "catches on" all over the state as the Lord impresses on us the need, privilege & call to pray!)
