F O U N D A T I O N S

A class centered on the field of christian theology known as "Christian Apologetics."

BEGINNING SUNDAY OCTOBER 1ST | 9:30-10:15AM | ONE27HOP

16 week course.  Class will be held in the Equipping Center at One27 House of Prayer

The class is centered on the field of christian theology known as "Christian Apologetics" and the goal is:  "to present historical, reasoned, and evidential bases for Christianity, defending it against objections."Our goal in leading the class is to equip believers with sound evidence and reasoning that will deepen their faith while giving them the confidence needed to defend our faith compellingly in an increasingly skeptical world.  1 Peter 3:5 gives us the charge for doing so:

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect"

The class will utilize materials from renown Christian apologist, cold case homicide detective, and Christian apologist author, J. Warner Wallace.  Instructors include Michael Keck and others.

The class will cover 4 themes

1. Building the case for the existence of God

2. The accuracy and reliability of the Bible

3. Who Jesus was and is and why we should believe in the resurrection.

4. Common critical questions and issues around Christianity.

Each theme will be covered during the course of 4 Sundays.  The entire course is 16 weeks and free to those who would like to attend.  This means Christians, non-Christians alike.  One27 attendees and non-attendees, alike.  We look forward to diving into this subject together known as "Christian Apologetics."
